Selena and Gray first crossed paths in 2015 at the University of Texas at Austin. Back then, they were “just friends,” but Gray tried to catch her interest. After she refused his advances they remained friends with the same friend group. After graduation, life took them in different directions. Gray moved to Georgetown while stationed in Killeen, and Selena was busy chasing her own path. What they didn’t know then was how closely their worlds still orbited each other-almost every Sunday, they followed the exact same routine: brunch at the same café, wandering the same bookstore, and sometimes even watching movies at the very same theater. Yet, somehow, they never ran into eachother. Then came his deployment, and Selena got busy filming a movie. But the universe had other plans. Once he returned Gray happened to run into Selena's best friend Jenna on the army post. (Fun fact: Jenna was a helicopter pilot.) Selena didn’t waste the opportunity. She sent a message through Jenna: Tell him I want to catch up. They started dating in 2019 and although Selena often tried to run away from commitment Gray was always faster. Heheh. Thank God for that! During their time dating they traveled the US and all over Europe together then decided to get married upon their homecoming to Texas, and Gray's departure from military service in 2026. :)
