As Told from Seleah’s POV: So the first time I met Tywon was through a service zoom that a mutual friend would run weekly, and for a while, that was our main way of contact. I would see him pop in from time to time. One day, I was in the service room and asked Mom if she’d like to say hello to everyone. She said sure and as many of you know, Mom loves to feed. I’m looking for a snack and next thing I hear is, “We’re having a gathering this weekend! Why don’t you guys come?” I whipped my head around to look at her and once she was done and I left the zoom room I told her, “Mama, I don’t know these people!😭 Some of them I just met today!” She said, “Oh I’m sorry, I thought you knew them for years.” I just shook my head. Regardless, the invitation was out there. Only a few people actually took her up on the invite and Tywon was one of them. I didn’t have any attraction to him right away. After that, we met again when the same friend put together an outing to Dave and Busters. We were able to play some games and chat a little but I still didn’t have an attraction yet. Shortly after, I arranged a trip to Cedar Point and invited some of the friends I had made over zoom, Tywon included. It was at this Cedar Point trip that I was secretly observing him and thought to myself, “Hm. He’s actually kinda cute.” We also got to talk more and exchanged social media tags. I would see what he would post on Instagram, and some of the things he would say and I remember thinking to myself, “Hmm. Dating him seems like it wouldn’t be too bad.” We didn’t immediately become invested in each other however. It took a little while before we started texting each other more heavily and then eventually he asked me, “Do you wanna go see this movie with me?” I didn’t know what he meant at first, so I asked him, “Do you mean like a date? Or with friends?” I won’t lie, I was holding my breath a little waiting for his response, and when he did respond, he said, “Yeah. Like a date.” And that’s pretty much how everything started. I fell in love with this goofy, funny, and spiritual dude😂💕
