Please RSVP by February 1st. We would appreciate the notice soon as you are able! The earlier you RSVP, the better for us on the planning end (:
The wedding is at Cove Lake State Park. The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be in an air-conditioned building. Please dress semi-formal or cocktail style. We encourage you to wear spring colors (bright/pastel pinks, greens, blues, purples, etc.). Ladies: Semi-formal (dresses, skirts, or similar attire is encouraged). If you are wearing heels, be aware that you will be walking through a grassy field with the potential for mud/soft ground. Gentlemen: Semi-formal, slacks and button down. Sport coats or blazers are not required but are optional. We kindly ask that you don't wear jeans (unless you must, Texas Cowboy Farmer People). In May, the weather will be hot, and there is potential for heavy showers.
The reception and ceremony will be in the same location. We are unable to reserve parking, as it is a public state park, so we recommend carpooling if at all possible to reduce the number of cars. The parking should be free. For the closest access to the venue, follow park signage to the Recreation Building and park in any of the nearby parking lots.
While we love your children and wish they could be in attendance, we ask that you do not bring them unless specified on your invite. We are tight on space in the reception area and cannot have extra people.
We are pretty tight on space and have very specifically curated our guest list. While we would love to meet your people, we ask that you don't bring a date unless it has been specified on your invite! If you are wanting to bring a date, you can let us know and we might be able to accommodate them closer to time, after receiving RSVP information from others.
If you have a food allergy, please reach out to us and we will do our absolute best to accommodate you!
