Travel Note
If you prefer to fly to Swaziland from Johannesburg, you will fly into the international airport called Matsapha Airport (SHO). Flights from Johannesburg to Swaziland start from about $400 and are about 45min. Alternatively you can fly to South Africa and take a shuttle to Swaziland which takes about 5 hours and costs about $50 one way. The following shuttles pick people up from OR Tambo International Airport or Sandton if you choose to stop over and rest when you first fly in: Transmagnific: http://goswaziland.co.sz/ (Recommended option) Exclusive Shuttle and Tours: http://www.exclusiveshuttleandtours.com/ Flight Connector: https://www.facebook.com/flightconnector/ You'll need to book a bus seat in advance and pay for your seat as well via EFT. If you rent a car from South Africa, you’re able to travel in it to Swaziland, however, this will likely be more expensive than renting a car within Swaziland. Note the side of the road you'll be driving on: Keep left, pass right We'll put together a list of recommended taxi drivers closer to the date who are available for hire or to use on short trips in Swaziland.
Travel Note
If you are traveling from SA, you can use ATMs at OR Tambo airport in South Africa to get South African rands. Swaziland accepts South African currency. In Swaziland, you can also withdraw local currency from any ATM.
