Our story begins in Nike. Jojo worked part-time at Nike as a cashier while studying at university. One afternoon in May, Warees walks in to purchase some sneakers. We made eye contact but, quickly turned our eyes away. Few moments pass, Warees decides on the shoes he wants and walks to the cash register to make his purchase. Jojo attends to Warees and helps him with his purchase. We undeniably felt an instant connection. This is where it gets interesting because from here, we have different recounts! Warees would say he asked for Jojo’s Snapchat only.. while Jojo remembers Warees asking for her number and Jojo denying, but giving him her Snapchat instead! We agree to disagree till this day! LOL. Whether it’s Snapchat or phone number first, meeting that day has led to 5 beautiful years of friendship, companionship, and love.
