We're getting Married!

Last December we took a van-cation to Mendocino to end the year with an adventure, little did I know Nick had a BIG surprise awaiting. The day started off walking on a beach full of abalone shells. At one point, I turned around and Nick was kneeling down on one knee with the rings on a piece of abalone shell. Although before he could say anything I had to yank him up just as a big wave was about to crash onto him. Of course I said "Yes!" and Nick later gave me his proposal speech in the airport on the way to Hawaii.

Nick and Lisa went to the same school starting from elementary all the way to high school. They passed each other in the halls and knew of each other but never were friends. Years later, as both were living local again, Nick messaged Lisa on instagram and they planned their first date. They hiked from Wrights Lake to Twin Lakes on August 11, 2017 and the rest is history!
