Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is “Black Tie Optional”. No jeans please. We kindly encourage our favorite people to dress in the color black. As an example, ladies would wear any formal black gown and the guys would wear black suit, tie, and white shirt! We also kindly ask the ladies to refrain from wearing white, champagne, or cream color attire. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors and reception indoors.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults only celebration. We hope you take this opportunity to treat our wedding day as a night to relax and enjoy! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

Answer

All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you "and guest", you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to attend unaccompanied. Due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate our closest family and friends. We thank you for understanding!

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! We will have QR codes you can scan to upload your photos to share with us!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

Our outdoor ceremony will begin punctually at 4 o'clock in the evening. We kindly ask you to arrive at least 30 minutes early to mingle with our other guests before the "I do's!"

WHAT IS THE ORDER OF EVENTS?

Answer

Ceremony: 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm Cocktail Hour: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm Reception: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking photos on-site for around an hour and a half. Guests will be directed to the area near the reception for cocktail hour where they will be served hors d'oeuvres, coffee, cocktails and are able to enjoy live music.

WILL THE WEDDING TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTSIDE?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside and the reception will be held indoors.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY FOR THE WEDDING WEEKEND?

Answer

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "Where to Stay" tab to see hotels in the area.

WHERE CAN I PARK FOR THE WEDDING?

Answer

If you would like to drive to our venue, Ashton Hill has a spacious on-site parking lot!

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - get ready to party!

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "No" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

IS THERE A GIFT REGISTRY?

Answer

Yes! Your presence at our wedding is a gift in and of itself, but if you feel inclined to give more, please see our registry page located on our wedding website.
