What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, so sundresses and light weight formal attire would be best! High heals may not be the best idea as we will be on grass.

I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

If you click the tab "travel", you will be able to view hotels in the near area. Beach houses are also available to rent for the weekend for larger groups if you look into the Top Sail beach area!

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

As you enter Summer House, you will soon see a white bridge over two lakes. There is a gazebo at the one end of it. This area is where the ceremony will be set up!

Where is the reception?

Answer

Summer House Club House. You will see a large building surrounded by a pool next to where the parking area is. Come on in, find your name and seat, then have a drink!

Are there any colors of preference to wear?

Answer

Our color scheme is a light iris purple and natural garden colors. Any shade of purple would compliment nicely, but it is not mandatory! Simply pastel spring colors or floral will do!

Where are the bathrooms?

Answer

Inside the clubhouse! Once you enter the front, walk straight back to the opposite end and bathrooms will be on either side.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Space is limited, but depending on how many guests can confirm attendance, a spot may open up. Just text us and we will let you know!

Where are we registered?

Answer

We actually chose not to have a registry of items. We have all we need! Kind donations to our Newlywed Fund would be greatly appreciated!

Can I take pictures of the wedding to post on social media?

Answer

Yes! BUT please use our wedding hashtag #TieTheKnotIntoABowen so we too can view all the memories of everyone who got to celebrate with us!
