We met online! :) It was the day after my 29th birthday and I was feeling confident that evening, and gained the courage to message Ryan (since he hadn't reached out to me yet). He replied almost instantly, we talked for a little while online before he gave me his number. The next day we both left for seperate vacations. We spent the whole week, day and night, messaging each other. We got to know each other very well before we ever actually met. When we did finally meet, on April 9th, at the zoo, we instantly connected and were together ever since.

We had been talking/planning on getting married in the future, so I was hoping he was going to ask soon! We had several events going on that I thought, "maybe, tonight is the night", and it never was (lol). Until I came home from work on a Tuesday, Ryan's car was gone, but when I walked in our house, Ryan was down on one knee in the living room with flowers, wine, and a perfect engagement ring. He also did the work of having one of our favorite neighbors hiding taking pictures of the proposal!
