Question

Is there transportation from the hotel to the venue and back?

Answer

Yes, but only for the Detroit hotels. If you are staying in Dearborn, we will not be providing transportation. Please let Isaac or Kayla know if you have questions

Where are Isaac and Kayla getting ready/staying?

Answer

We will be getting ready and staying in one of the Downtown Detroit hotels! You should too :)

Where and what time are the buses for the Detroit hotels for the 6pm ceremony?

Answer

We are still figuring out exactly where, so please check back again when the date gets closer BUT we will definitely have transit pick up at all the Detroit hotels. Each hotel is right down the street from one another, so it will be easy to coordinate.

What time is the ceremony and when should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before, just to be safe. If you are arriving via the Downtown Detroit hotel transportation, you will be on time.

Is the wedding outside and what happens if there is bad weather?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside on the lawn at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in the Pennsylvania Courtyard. Afterward, we'll go just a few short steps inside to the museum for dinner and dancing. If the weather is bad, we will have an indoor ceremony in the museum's theatre.

Can we bring our children?

Absolutely. Just know we will not have any dedicated onsite care for young children.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Of course! Our invitations will have a designated area for you to write about any dietary restrictions or allergies. Please feel free to reach out to Isaac or Kayla for any questions or concerns.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will not be any gaps of the evening of our wedding. The short ceremony will begin at 6pm, which will be followed by cocktail hour and reception.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! Isaac and I are in love with Detroit and the surrounding cities. We have many favorite restaurants and activities. Please reach out to us if you'd like any suggestions.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We can’t wait to tie the knot in front of our favourite people! We hope that you can enjoy this special moment with us camera-free, so please, no photos until our ceremony conclusion. Of course during cocktail hour and reception we encourage as many photos as your phone will allow.
