Brian was serving at his family's church, Impact Community Church as their Youth Director when he heard about a Youth All-Nighter on New Years Eve at another local church, called Brentwood Neighborhood Church, that sounded amazing for his students. There, he worked the game room, and in walked a youth leader named Sefra who served the youth at BNC as well. On December 31, 2015, Brian and Sefra talked all night; and hung out with some cool youth students. After the night was over, they said their goodbyes, but Brian wanted to talk more, so he reached out to Sefra. This began a few months of hanging out at their college group, some movie dates, and a LOT of texting. Finally, Brian decided to ask Sefra to be his girlfriend before she headed off to serve at High School Camp in June of 2016 and the rest is history.
