Everyone’s invited to join us for a nontraditional “Rehearsal Dinner” — a relaxed Welcome Picnic with pizza, pasta, Mary’s infamous pesto breadsticks, and drinks! We’ll be gathering on the Sonoma Plaza, near the park, so kiddos can play while the grown-ups mingle. We look forward to sharing this special start to the weekend with you!
As Sonoma is a charming small town, rideshare options like Uber can be limited. If you do not plan on renting a car, we recommend using a local taxi service or booking your rides to and from the reception in advance. For those driving, plenty of parking is available at Roche Winery. A trolley shuttle will also be available throughout the evening to transport guests back to the Sonoma Plaza from Roche Winery.
The Roche family has been a part of Maggie’s life for as long as she can remember! From singing in the kindergarten choir led by Colleen, to countless hours babysitting their (now almost grown!) kids, and later working at the winery throughout college—their families have been closely intertwined over the years. We’re incredibly grateful to Brendan and Colleen Roche for their generosity in letting us celebrate our wedding at their gorgeous family winery. It’s a truly special place, and we can’t wait to share its beauty and award winning wine with the people we love most!
Anticipate gray mornings (as we call "June Gloom"), sunny daytime, and chilly evenings. Everyone is always shocked at how cold California evenings get, even in the summer! Make sure to account for this and pack accordingly.
