Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 15!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yep! Right here on Zola. Click above where it says Registry.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00pm, please begin heading to the ceremony site (just across the street from Whitney's Inn) at 3:30pm. There is a wooden bridge across from Whitney's that you'll walk across to the ceremony site.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire: Cocktail dresses, suits and slacks, summer dresses.... the ceremony is in the woods so you may want to avoid stilettos, ladies ;) And remember that it's mid July - so make sure you're cool and comfortable! The barn where the reception will be is air conditioned.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Let us know as soon as possible if you'd like a plus one and we'll try our best to accommodate.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This will be an adults only affair. Parents - see it as an opportunity to have some grown up fun for a couple days!! You deserve it.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Whitney's Inn and their sister site The Inn at Jackson. That said, Jackson NH has many many beautiful places to stay. Here's a list from Trip Advisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g46128-Jackson_New_Hampshire-Hotels.html

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

You sure can! Just let us know! Also - there will be a vegan option: a delicious tofu stir fry with seasonal vegetables. Let us know if you'd prefer that as well.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Whitney's Inn has ample parking. In front of the inn and in a larger lot to the right of the inn.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have not arranged for transportation between the Inn at Jackson and Whitney's Inn. There are many designated drivers however, so if you'll need a ride, let us know! We can match you up with someone who won't be drinking. Uber and Lyft are also an option!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The Shovel Handle Pub (the on site restaurant in the barn at Whitney's) is open on Friday night (7/12) until 10pm. The wedding party will head over there after the rehearsal dinner - we'll probably arrive at the pub around 7:30pm. So feel free to join us! We'll also hang out around the fire pit after the pub closes on Friday. And will do the same after the reception on Saturday for an after party! On Sunday there is a brunch from 9am-11am at Whitney's.
