We met on a dating app called Hinge in March of 2020 and hit it off right away. It all started with Taylor asking for pictures of Jacob's new silver lab puppy, Arry. We talked for a few days and then went on our first date to a sushi restaurant in Destin, Florida and it felt like it went by in 5 minutes. We agreed at the end of dinner we didn't want the night to end so we went for a walk on the beach and ended up talking and walking for the next few hours. Ever since that night in March we've been inseparable...Jacob started flight school in Alabama with the Army and we started dating.

Jacob told me we were going to dinner with my family and we were on our way when my dad called claiming to have car issues coming home from the beach. We met him and his "broken down car" at our favorite beach access and then all the sudden Jacob is leading me on a walk down the beach to a beautifully set up spot where he got down on one knee and proposed. I had a feeling it was happening this night and the car issue really threw me off for just enough time to still make it a surprise. This was one of the best nights of my life!

Once Jacob got orders for South Korea with the Army, we decided to get our marriage started so we could go together and not spend a year apart. We needed to make it official! We had a beautiful and intimate elopement ceremony with just our parents in Savannah, Georgia where we became husband and wife on December 21st, 2020!

Yes we are already legally married, but we are beyond excited to celebrate the vows we made in front of all of our closest friends and family on October 1st 2022! The ceremony will be on the sand in Inlet, Beach Florida with a reception to follow at The Pointe on 30A rooftop.
