After a snowy day spent on the slopes at Elk Mountain, we were approaching the last run of the day. Jon pulled over halfway down the slope stating he wanted to get a picture. After taking some scenic shots, he went rummaging through his backpack "looking for another pair of gloves", which I thought was odd as it was the last run. Before I knew it, he pulled out the ring and popped the question!
