Maid of Honor
I first met Hannah living on the same floor in Bryan Hall our freshman year at MSU. Since then, our friendship has been filled with dorm room sleepovers, sushi dates and plenty of late night conversations through the shared wall of our apartment our Junior year. Hannah has been there with me through everything, and I know I could not have survived college without her. I have enjoyed being a part of Hannah and Jake's lives as their relationship has grown and matured through the years, and I look forward to seeing them flourish together as a married couple.
Best Man
My name is Jared, and I'm a hopeless romantic who holds the credit (or the blame) of pairing these two together. I've known both of these hooligans since the awkward phases of middle school and have yet to see them and myself grow out of it. But honestly, if it means being there with these two (and Seth), I wouldn't mind being awkward for the rest of my life.

Hannah and I met the summer before 4th grade. We were babies back then but knew we had to be besties from the get-go. Due to life and differences in schedules, we don’t get to see each other as much as we would like but when we do get the chance, we always pick back up right where we left off. Hannah has always been one of my main supporters in life and I am so happy to be by her side on the happiest day of hers! ❤️
Best Man
I met Jacob on a bus ride home during sixth grade. I glanced over at his math homework and couldn't understand the concepts he was working on. That was the first conversation I had with Jacob, and our friendship bloomed from this point. He played football his 6th grade year and it took a whole year of pestering before I convinced him to go out for swimming. It was in swim that Jake met Jared who encouraged us both to sign up for water polo. Jake soon took a fancy for another water polo player named Hannah, and we were all sure it was meant to be.

I met Hannah freshmen year when we were tour guides together at MSU! Our senior year of undergrad we were roommates together and spent our time going to HRA on campus or even just going to dinner and wine. This year we are both still living down the street from each other as we continue our graduate programs and take time to relax and catch up with each other as often as possible.

I got to be one of Jake's roommates for two awesome years. The four of us had good times watching sports and Rick and Morty, going out, and bonding over music and engineering. Of course, through Jake I met Hannah. I got to know Hannah and her friends over the two years, and we all had a blast with each other. Jake and Hannah are genuine people, and I look forward to seeing their story develop!

I have the pleasure of calling Hannah my sister. I have known her all of my life, and right now we are sharing an apartment at MSU. I already see Jacob as another brother, but look forward to it being legal. A fond memory I have of the two of them was when Hannah told me how Jacob made her feel, and that Jacob was the love of her life. We knew it was serious when water polo season came around and Jacob stuck around; I'm so happy for them, and I wish them the best.

Living with you was fate. You thought you were walking into an apartment full of normal engineering students, but you were very wrong. How could you have known you were in for two years of fire alarms and hot sauces? Bonding after watching Dantonio and the football team break our hearts year after year was a good way to connect; it's no surprise we're friends after all we've been through. I can't even count the number of times we jammed to Megadeth together. We even survived David's 500 degree garlic bread arson. Congratulations, Jake!

I am Abby Shereda and Hannah is soon to be my sister-in-law! I am the younger of Jake's twin sisters, by four minutes. I met Hannah in 2014 when she and Jake began dating while attending Hudsonville High School! I am so honored to be part of this day and cannot wait to officially add Hannah to the family as my SISTER!

We met way back in sophomore year at Michigan State. Alex V, Jerzy, and I had decided to live at 1855 Place for junior year and were looking for a fourth roommate. Jake ended up signing up as the fourth, and the rest is history! Many great times were had between all of us at 1855 Place, and we ended up becoming great friends and decided to live together again senior year. I couldn't have been happier when Jake and Hannah got engaged, and I was honored when Jake asked me to be a groomsman.

I am Jake's sister and I'm so excited he and Hannah are about to get married! I started attending MSU while they were in the last few years of undergrad, and I've enjoyed spending many basketball games together with them in the IZZONE. I also have them to thank for my newfound love of rats as pets. I could tell Jake and Hannah were meant to be from the start of their relationship, and I couldn't be happier that I will soon be able to call her my sister!

The first time Jake and I met was during our sophomore year at MSU, we were cooking a group meal at the community kitchen in Butterfield Hall, and it only took about 15 minutes to go from complete strangers to belting out every single Hamilton song in unison. What I appreciate more than the great memory from that night is how Jake has continued to be such an amazing part of my life, from being my first dungeon master, to dancing up a storm at hayride, he is that rare person who truly is there for you whenever and wherever. Congrats to Hannah and Jake!

Hannah and I met multiple times before I interviewed her for a job working in HR at the MSU union. I totally didn’t recognize her and hired her completely based off of her shining personality and extreme professionalism. I finally put two and two together on her first day of work and we have been best friends ever since! I am honored to be a part of her and Jacob’s special day and can’t wait to see their love continue to grow.

I am Hannah's younger brother. I already view Jacob as a brother, but now it's going to be official. One of my favorite memories of Jacob is him, my dad, and I spending part of a summer building a forge so that we could all learn how to bladesmith, and so that Jacob could attend a bladesmithing competition in Texas the next spring. Jacob, Hannah, and I all competed in water polo and swimming in high school, and I feel that we all have a stronger relationship together because of it. We all have had many memories together, and I am sure more are on the way.

Hannah and I met when we both began working as HR for MSU's Union. We instantly bonded over the chaos that goes along with HR roles and student employees. We stayed close in other aspects of our lives as well - Hannah joined the Human Resources Association that I was also part of, and I couldn't have been more excited when Hannah joined the Human Resources and Labor Relations Masters program with me! I can't wait to stand by Hannah's side on her big day!

The first time I met Jacob was at MSU in MSE 250, the one and only honors class that I actually took. The other tables were mostly filled; when Jacob sat down at the table with me and my other friend, we hit it off, and I didn't realize how quickly our friendship would start to grow. We bonded over all forms of nerd culture from Pokemon to Dungeons and Dragons. We would eventually spend hours together chasing after virtual monsters on our phone, even going so far as jogging across town in search of the rare ones. We graduated from MSU at different times, but have stayed in contact since then.
