It all began on June 19th, 2012, when we met through a program called Upward Bound. From our very first conversation, there was a connection that neither of us could deny. What started as a simple spark quickly grew into something real and lasting. Through the years, we’ve stood by each other’s side—navigating the highs and lows of life as teenagers, then as young adults, and now as we continue to grow into the people we’re becoming. Our journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it. Now, after years of love, lessons, and growth, we’ve chosen to take the next step: to become one—not just by law, but with God as the foundation of our union.
