It all started in 2016 right after Rebekah had told Dylan that she had eaten a whole onion while he was fixing the Grace Prep couch. Dylan decided to still be her friend after that and they had feelings for each other for a little bit before Rebekah decided they were better off as friends. Fun fact, the first person they each held hands with was each other. Their friendship grew close throughout the years and their relationship grew deeper. They always had this connection that they assumed was a unique friendship. Five years later in 2021, they both realized with the help of friends they had a deeper connection than ever to each other and that there might be more than friendship occurring. Fun fact, Rebekah’s mom predicted this would happen 2 years before it did. In August of 2021, Dylan asked Rebekah out and she proceeded to come up with a list of 10 reasons why they wouldn't work out, fearing losing their friendship. Dylan simply said "we will lose our friendship anyway because if we married anyone else, they wouldn't be comfortable with how close we are." Which then resulted in the beginning of their relationship and beautiful love story. Rebekah and Dylan since then have both grown as individuals, and in their relationship through trials and joyful months and years. They feel now more than ever they are ready to get married and commit to a lifetime of more ups and downs. They've never known a love like their own, and they are ecstatic to create a life together. They are thankful for the Lord's goodness and mercy and know they have to keep Him at the center of their relationship to keep growing.
