On November 13, 2020, my friend called me, determined to drag me out to Sandbar (literally 5 minutes from my house). I was not in the mood, if you know me, I'm not the hardest to convince LOL. So, I threw on my dad Mike's vintage Jazz windbreaker (iconic, if you ask me or Keith), scooped up my bestie LaMaya, and crashed Klay’s birthday party! And then… Selena came on. Klay jumped out of the booth and started dancing (knowing him now this is SOOO out of character hahaha). But in that moment, I thought… I may be in love. We talked all night, I immediately told my family about him when I got home, and from then on, we’ve been inseparable. Over the last four years, we’ve had countless belly laughs, peaceful Sundays, pool days, and milestones together. And now—we’re engaged!! We can’t wait for this next chapter, and I’m just so freaking happy I said YES that night.
