We first met at college, and spent hours walking the trail on campus or studying together. He liked my spunky attitude, and I liked how he made me laugh. After a year, we went our separate ways and ended up losing touch. Three years later, he sent me a text one Thanksgiving Day and after that we just never stopped talking. When he found the courage to ask me out on New Year's Eve, we both had peace, knowing this was something good in the making. One year later, I was wondering if he had any thoughts of marriage like I did, while he was stressing about finding a ring during an international pandemic. However, God works even when we can't see it. Sebastian brought me back to the place where it all started, and on the trail we used to walk six years ago, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We are so thankful for God's incredible peace and grace over us, and we cannot wait to see what is in store for us as we begin our lives together.
