We love your kiddos (a lot!) but we intend for our wedding celebration to be for grown-ups only. If this would prevent you from attending, please reach out and we can chat. Pablo may make a cameo appearance, but no pets otherwise, please.
Yes! On Sunday, we will arrange shuttles to pick you up and drop you off after the festivities. Shuttles will be departing from and returning to Dillon Beach Resort and the Home2Suites by Hilton, Petaluma. There will be no parking allowed at the wedding venue, so please plan to take the shuttles from one of these locations.
Tomales Bay is a temperate coastal climate but can be a bit unpredictable during the summer. During the day, be prepared for (hopefully!) sunny and 70 degrees, with layers that allow for cloudy and windy and 50 degrees at night. We'll provide blankets and heaters, but good to pack a cozy sweater (and/or wool jacket!) for the evening.
Both the welcome and reception dinners will be outdoors, along with the ceremony. Dessert and dancing will be indoors in the barn during the reception.
Please reference your invitation for invitee details. All +1's will be explicitly listed.
Our schedule will be updated closer to the wedding date with dress codes. Festive, but not-too-formal, attire encouraged! Please note that there is a short uphill walk through a pasture to the ceremony site, so please be thoughtful about your footwear.
We are aiming for an unplugged wedding and ask that you kindly refrain from taking pictures on your phone to be more present with friends and family during both our ceremony and reception. We are excited to share photos from the photographer once we receive them, and there will be a photo booth! Additionally, phone service is virtually non-existent at Straus Home Ranch, so please plan accordingly.
