Coffee nerds, this one is for you! Both McKayla and Sebastian stop here WAY too frequently that almost all the baristas know them by name at this point. (We also visited Crema on our first date because we couldn’t stop talking after lunch!) The Cuban is their speciality, but you can’t go wrong with anything you choose.
A+ stop for shopping, coffee, and one of the best Italian restaurants in town, Penne Pazze. We recommend getting the owner’s recommendation and indulging on both a bowl of pasta and pinsa! Honest Coffee Roasters inside is a great place to snag a solid cup of joe.
Sebastian proposed to McKayla overlooking the skyline of Nashville! You’re going to get one of the best photos of Nashville to commemorate your trip to see us. It’s an easy trek across the bridge and so close to Fifth + Broadway for food.
Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway is really one of our favorite places to go for people looking for a variety of cuisine. Key food stands we recommend are Hattie Jane’s Creamery, Steamboys, and NoBaked Cookie Dough.
Location of our second date spot and a regularly visited haven, if you’re craving ramen, this is the spot! Sebastian and McKayla always start with the spicy edamame and crispy tuna followed by a comforting bowl of tonkotsu (double egg for her please!). If they can source it, try for the sparking yuzu soda— you won’t regret it.
Typically visited weekly, “Taq” is the best place for down-to-earth tacos surrounded by easy walking in the 12South neighborhood. It’s an easy stop across the street from Jeni’s Ice Cream which is difficult to pass!
An iconic stop in Nashville to get a great burger and enjoy some classic sodas— McKayla recommends the chocolate phosphate and farm burger while Sebastian orders the Choose Your Own Cure. If the weather is nice enough, sitting out in the garden is the place to be!
A speakeasy-style cocktail bar that will take flavor profiles and essences you enjoy and make you a perfect drink! Truly one of our favorite bars in town to get a quality cocktail.
