La Grande Orange Grocery & Pizzeria
the special place where we spent our first Valentine's Day together and shared our first pizza pie! a charming spot with a cute little market attached perfect for az souvenirs. La Grande Orange is located in the heart of arcadia which is where we live and where our wedding venue is located, just a few miles down the road. their bake shop next door is even making us a cool, shag cake for the wedding! Seb & Marli both recommend the rocket man pizza
CIBO
march is perfect patio dining weather here in phoenix and if there's any patio to enjoy a meal on, this is the one. you'll likely want to make reservations for this upscale downtown phoenix spot. Seb recommends starting with the arancini splitting the diavloa pie with Marli and if you have room for dessert, finishing the night with a nutella e mascarpone crepe
Pizzeria Bianco
another one of our special valentine's day pizza spots! truly a quintessential phoenix restaurant from the legend, Chris Bianco. Seb has been known to buy the canned Bianco dinapoli crushed tomatoes to try and recreate these pies at home. consider leaving some room in your suitcase to bring a can back yourself! Marli & Seb both recommend splitting the rosa pie and the bolognese pasta
The Parlor Pizzeria
quality food with a cool atmosphere that always has a good playlist going. if there's a long wait time, pop over to snoh down the street for a very interesting, very tasty dish of shaved ice Seb recommends any of their seasonal pasta dishes Marli recommends the spicy florentine pizza

A tried and true classic in the Blackwell/Mayon household -- great for group dining to-go or in-person. Seb & Marli recommend sharing the butternut squash pizza with the cast iron shishito peppers and extra umami sauce!
Pemberton PHX
This is a fun outdoor spot in downtown Phoenix with a variety of restaurants and businesses in a food truck style. Marli recommends the rigatoni vodka (add chicken cutlet + ricotta) from Saint Pasta Seb recommends the birria tacos from Baja Fish Tacos
Chula Seafood Uptown
Options for good seafood are definitely limited in our landlocked state so this is arguably the best seafood you'll get in Phoenix! The uptown Phoenix area is a super cute area of Phoenix to visit -- consider popping into the shop Frances nearby for fun AZ souvenirs.
