You could say we didn’t exactly hit it off at first. We first met while working at Ashley HomeStore, and to be honest… it wasn’t love at first sight. We didn’t instantly click, and we definitely didn’t imagine we'd end up here. But as we’ve learned, God’s plans are often so much greater than our own. What started off as two people going about their everyday lives slowly turned into something we never expected — a relationship shaped by grace, growth, and God’s perfect timing.When Sebastian got a new job and was preparing to move on, something shifted. He had always noticed something special about Emily and on a whim, he took a leap of faith and asked her out. In a moment that now feels divinely orchestrated, she said yes. Our first date was simple — just dinner and a movie — but from that night on, things began to change. What we thought might be just one evening together soon became something real and lasting. As we got to know one another more deeply, we started to see that God was writing a beautiful story — one neither of us could have written on our own. Since October 15, 2022, we’ve walked this journey together — not perfectly, but prayerfully. And somewhere along the way, we realized: this is what it means to be meant for each other. There’s a peace in our love, a quiet understanding, and a deep sense that God brought us together for a purpose. Now, as we prepare to step into this new season of marriage, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude — for each other, for the path that brought us here, and for the family and friends who have loved and supported us so faithfully.
