Bogesunds Slottsvandrarhem

Bogesundsvandrarhem has options if you want to come a couple of days earlier or stay longer afterward. You can contact Anne & Peter (the super kind owners of Bogesundsvandrarhem) directly to make a reservation for that. Be aware though, that the schools finish here halfway through June- holiday season will be in full bloom so don’t wait too long with your bookings.

Directions by car

National Road 274 towards Vaxholm, turn right towards Bogesund, continue for about 7 km. Pass Ellboda, Waxholms golf club exit and Träsket and you will soon be there. Turn left at the red sign, just before the castle and follow the gravel road until it ends!

Arlanda Airport- Stockholm= 40km Arlanda Airport-Vaxholm= 57km Vaxholm-Stockholm=33km (or 1 hour by boat)

Vaxholm is located on one of the islands (the Archipelago) around Stockholm, so you can take the ferry (or bus, car) to or from Stockholm, if you want to make it a city trip.
