We're making it official! We're getting married!

We matched on a popular dating app that rhymes with Kinder (and was definitely, 100% not Tinder). Let’s just say our dating lives before meeting weren’t exactly inspiring—we canceled on each other multiple times before finally deciding to meet. When we did, our original plan to meet at Cafe Dolce didn’t quite work out (it always seemed to be closed when we tried to go there). Thankfully, there was a cozy Thai restaurant nearby that saved the date. From the moment we met, it felt like a connection out of this world—like we had known each other forever. Our first conversation flowed effortlessly, covering everything from movies to engineering and the many things we had in common. That instant spark led us to meet again the very next day. We walked around Norwalk, Connecticut, exploring together. One of us (guess who!) had just moved back to the area, while the other knew it better and became the unofficial tour guide. We spent the whole day together, enjoying the simple joy of each other's company and discovering how much fun we had being around one another. As we got to know each other, we started creating unforgettable moments. There was the hike near New Haven that ended with pizza under the stars, sharing stories and dreams. It always felt like we weren’t just meeting for the first time but reconnecting. Soon after, we began exploring New York City together—an adventure in itself. From incredible rooftop views of the skyline to wandering through streets packed with energy, every moment was filled with laughter and discovery. It was during one of those magical city nights, staring into each other’s eyes, that we knew we had found something truly special. Months of amusement park trips, hikes, and countless meals later, our bond had only deepened. Today, we’re navigating life together as young engineers and preparing for the most exciting chapter yet: getting married. We’re so grateful for the incredible journey that brought us together and can’t wait to continue exploring life as partners, adventurers, and soulmates.
