Question

What should we wear? Qué nos ponemos?

Answer

We’ll be in suits, not tuxedos, for the ceremony and reception. So the event is not super formal, but please look nice, as you’ll be in pictures with us that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. No pressure. If you want to let your hair down a bit for the afterparty at the house, that’s fine. Vamos a estar de traje para la ceremonia y la recepción. Así que, el evento no es de gala, pero no caigas en ojotas, ya que las fotos de este gran día las atesoraremos para siempre. Sin presiones. Si querés, podés caer un poco más tranqui al after en la casa.

What about food? Qué vamos a comer?

Answer

The reception at the hotel will include a buffet lunch with the option of salmon or tofu for the main course. Food at the afterparty will be more informal. At both events, there will be lots and lots to drink, with and without alcohol. La recepción en el hotel incluirá un almuerzo buffet con opción de salmón o tofu como plato principal. Lo que vamos a servir en el after party será más informal. En ambos eventos, habrá muchísimas bebidas, con y sin alcohol.

And photos? Qué onda las fotos?

Answer

We'll have a professional photographer for the ceremony and most of the reception, but not for all of it or the afterparty. Please upload any photos you take—unless we look terrible in them!—to the drive we created. You can find it on this site under the Share Your Photos tab. Vamos a tener un fotógrafo profesional para la ceremonia y la mayor parte de la recepción, pero no durante todo el evento ni para el after en casa. Por favor, suban las fotos que tomen (con criterio), a la carpeta que hemos creado a traves de Google Drive. Pueden encontrarla en este sitio, en la pestaña de Share Your Photos! ("Comparte tus fotos!")

Can I bring a plus one? Puedo ir con un +1?

Answer

Please don’t bring anyone extra to the ceremony and reception unless you’ve already let us know. On that note, we need to provide the hotel with the final guest count by September 17, so RSVP to one or us right away if you haven’t yet! As for the afterparty, if you’d like to bring a plus one, that’s wonderful, though please give us a heads up beforehand. No caigas con nadie a la ceremonia ni a la recepción en el hotel a menos que ya nos lo hayas informado. A su vez, necesitamos confirmar la lista de invitados antes del 17/9, ¡no te olvides de avisarnos! En cuanto al after en casa, si querés venir con un +1, nos parece espectacular, pero dejánoslo saber antes.

We may! Let us know if you’re keen to help. These last days leading up are going to be a bit hectic and full of little tasks. ¡Claro que sí! Escribinos si estás interesado o interesada en darnos una mano. Estos últimos días requieren de una gran logística y está llena de detalles.

How do I get to the hotel and where do I park? Cómo llego al evento y dónde puedo estacionar?

Answer

There is free parking at the hotel and ample street parking around it. If you’ll be staying in Bellingham beyond walking distance to the hotel and won’t have a car, let us know and we’ll try to arrange rides and carpools. Hay estacionamiento en el hotel y amplio aparcamiento en la calle en los alrededores. Si se alojan en Bellingham, a una distancia que no le permite ir caminando al hotel y no disponen de autos, avísenos y trataremos de organizarle transporte y viajes compartidos.
