How We Met

Do You Have a Job For Me, Hey You're that Guy, Will you Ride with Me?

Upon returning from Washington, D.C., Ashley was desperately looking for a job as an associate at a law firm. Seaver, working as such at a well respected boutique law firm, was referred to Ashley by Michelle, a high school friend, as someone who may be able to help her find that dream job. After a quick Facebook message, it turned out he could not get her into his firm. Who was this girl anyway? Months later, Ashley was at the Rays opener tailgate when Seaver and his posse walked up and which point Ashley immediately recognized Seaver as "that guy I emailed." She proceeded to tell him all about the past few months of her life, exposing intricate details she had never shared out loud, certainly not to "some guy". A few months passed and Michelle's July birthday camping trip was approaching. Ashley really wanted to go as she was still developing her friend circle but did not want to drive up to Gainesville alone so she immediately thought, hmmmm, maybe that guy Seaver would ride up with me. Of course, Seaver said yes, met Ashley at her apartment and they were off. Stories, laughs, boiled peanuts, and a few wrong turns later, Seaver and Ashley arrived at the campground together, at which point jaws dropped and questions scurried out. Seaver didn't put the moves on Ashley until he was SURE he was ready because he knew she was the one from the first time he saw her smiling face at the tailgate. After a few months of dating, Seaver and Ashley became inseparable, and the rest is history.
