Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We know it'll be college football playoff season, but please try and arrive no later than a half hour before the ceremony begins... Go Buckeyes!

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

Besides no white dresses, we don't have any kind of preferred color pallet. Just wear formal wedding attire that you look best in! As for warmth, it won't be Ohio cold, but still a little chilly at night around the outside areas, so plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a date?Can I bring a date?

Answer

Maybe! Please reach out to us personally and we can chat.

Question

Are kids welcome?Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love children, we see plenty of them every day as teachers! For this New Year’s Eve celebration, we’re keeping it adults-only so everyone can relax, celebrate, and ring in the New Year together. The only children present will be immediate family members!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Anywhere around the valley will be awesome! Ubers/Lyfts will be in a plenty on NYE, so transportation will be accessible then as well. We personally love the Tempe, Scottsdale, and Gilbert areas.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are over 30 parking spots inside the gate of the venue and the street parking immediately surrounding the venue is also reserved for us and anyone who might need to leave their car overnight.

Question

Will we be celebrating into the New Year? Will we be celebrating into the New Year?

Answer

Yes, but not at The Woodland! Our plan is to be out by 10 PM and arrive to the after-party for the actual NYE celebration before the ball drops!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony? Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're sure you take great photos, but we'd like all devices away during the actual ceremony. It makes the photos look better and allows us all to live in the moment as it happens. Columbus' own Rosey Red Photography will be chronicling the entire night for us, so you can look back later at the artwork of a photo album they will make for us!
