FAQS

The Wedding Website of emily searles and michael antonopoulos
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:00p to enjoy a little pre-ceremony cocktail hour and plan to have your butt in a chair at 3:30p so we can begin as promptly as possible.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love all the kiddos in our lives, we request that only those in the wedding party attend. We want to ensure everyone is able to enjoy themselves and have a fun, carefree time! Connect with us if this poses an issue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly request that only those outlined on the invitation attend the ceremony and reception. If your invitation stated "& Guest" then we have allowed a guest to be included in our total when planning. Please contact us directly should this pose an issue.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to feel comfy, cute, confident, and be able to dance with ease, while still helping us achieve our dream day. Please keep our color palette (the flowers!) above in mind as you think of what to wear. Variations in tone and patterns are welcome. Generally, we're asking for folks to be in earth, natural, and jewel tones while avoiding any sort of white/ivory. Semi-Formal, Garden, or Cocktail Attire are great. Think: Long/Mid-Length Dresses, Light Suits, Jumpsuits/Coveralls, and Collared Shirts. Ties are optional, though we encourage fun ones. We want folks to be dressed up without feeling constrained. The ceremony will take place on grass, so we encourage folks to wear shoes that won't sink & are grass/mud friendly.

Question

What's parking like?

Answer

There are enough spots to fit 40 cars on the premises. We encourage folks to carpool whether you're coming from the city or from your accommodations nearby. We're happy to put you in touch with people if we know you're staying at the same places!

Question

Will there be service or wifi?

Answer

Service will be limited & wifi is available, though not super fast. So, we recommend downloading any directions prior to arriving.

Question

Can we stay at the inn overnight?

Answer

While there are several rooms available, these are reserved for the wedding party and select guests. See a list of others options in the Travel page (once it's finished!). We recommend Airbnb & Vrbo for groups, and individual rooms at local B&Bs & Hotels for couples/individuals.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We'll try our best to accommodate all restrictions of which we are aware. We want everyone to enjoy the food & not worry about any reactions! When you RSVP, please let us know what dietary restrictions you or any of your party may have so we can alert our caterer and determine if there are additional accommodations necessary.

Question

What if I can't stay for the whole time?

Answer

While we'd love for everyone to attend both the ceremony and reception, we understand that may not be possible. If you're only able to join for one portion of the day (or weekend) we kindly ask that you give us the heads up so we can have accurate numbers for our catering and rental teams.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We've created our registry through Zola, which can be found on the registry page of our website. We kindly request that you stick to the registry unless there is a very specific item you know we'd love & enjoy from past conversations as we have a very small space in NYC.
