Shelby was walking into a bonfire party, Red, White, and Booze to be exact, when she laid eyes on Teresa. Shelby was trying to work up the confidence to talk to Teresa all night, even stood next to her watched her do terrible at Beer Pong. Shelby needed some extra encouragement from her friends, so "Shotty" took action and dragged Teresa over to Shelby where she announced "Shelby just got a new haircut." They talked all night until Teresa asked for a kiss and then, literally, ran away. Two days after the party, Shelby received a Facebook Message from Teresa and the rest was history...

It was Shelby's birthday weekend and she wanted to spend it with some of her best friends at her ranch in Mason, TX. All of her friends arrived anticipating the main event, while Teresa had no idea that weekend was dedicated to their proposal. They all had lunch at Nacho's Cafe, where Shelby could hardly eat because in 1 hour she was going to pop the question. Teresa on the other hand was chowing down on tacos without a care in the world. After eating Stayci and Preston went to go make a "beer run." (I am very surprised Teresa did not think anything was suspicious because Preston does not drink.) They secretly were waiting for us to already be hiking the rocks so they could create the perfect set up. After hiking the rocks for an hour it was on the way to "head back." There was a rose trail leading Teresa & Shelby to a quiet picnic with a charcuterie board and champagne. Even Tony Llama wanted a piece of the fun and tried to crash the engagement! After Shelby asked Teresa to be her wife they spent the rest of their night accompanied by the people that loved them the most.

How often do you hear that a couple goes through not one, but two proposals! Shelby & Teresa were spending the week in Las Vegas with their Class of 2019 Fish Buddies. Teresa was carrying the ring with her at all times waiting for the perfect moment. They spontaneously took a trip to the Hoover Dam with some of their best friends. Shelby was looking out at the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge where she thought "Hmm... this would be a pretty spot to get engaged." As in sync as Shelby & Teresa are, Teresa must have read her mind. After taking pictures of the Memorial Bridge Teresa asked for one more pic where she knelt down and said "You have been the greatest adventure of my life, will you continue this adventure and be my wife." Nobody saw it coming, not even her friends!
