Where am I Staying?

Answer

We have exclusively rented out the Castello di Ristonchi for our wedding weekend, which means all of our guests are able to stay together in one place. All meals and activities are part of our weekend of celebration and included if you choose to join us! We have listed the events of the weekend on the “Schedule” page. Please do note: the castle is a 17th century castle and the accommodations are more rustic, you will be sharing space with others. We will do our best to pair people together if they're couples or pair people if you're arriving with one with another person you may know - the hope is that being together on the grounds creates a community of bonding and blending and that by the end of our time together everyone is a blended family together.

How do I get to the Castle?

Answer

We are providing a group shuttle from the Florence airport on ***. We will be in touch to confirm after you RSVP. The times for pick up are *** . The times for drop off will be *** . Please keep this in mind as you schedule flights. For self-directed travel, you should take the train to the station "Pontassieve" and from there, either take the bus or arrange a short taxi ride to the venue. You may also drive directly to the location if you're already renting a car in Italy.

What time is Check In?

Check in will start at 4:00 PM on Friday September 25th. Ristonchi will be busy preparing for our weekend of celebrations and will not be able to accommodate early check in. Check out is by 11AM on Monday September 28th.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Instead of a traditional registry, we're inviting contributions to support the celebration. We know traveling is already an investment and we know that everyone’s circumstances are different, so we’ve offered a few contribution options to choose from. Choose what feels right - no expectations, no pressure, just gratitude. **Options:** $200 | $400 | $600 What matters most is having you witness our love and be part of blending our families. This is about connection and celebrating the ember that sparked our story. If you choose to contribute to the celebration you can navigate to the registry page.

Will there be alcohol included?

Answer

DUH!! We will be providing alcohol during most events. The alcohol is provided by the venue itself and is specific to the event. Additional speciality drinks, beer, and wine will be available to purchase from Ristonchi. These items will be charged to your room - and must be paid in full upon check out. You will only be charged for additional alcohol you purchase outside of the events listed on our schedule page.
