We both answered Craigslist ads inn2010 to rent rooms in a house full of girls, and we’ve been best friends ever since! We’ve shared two homes together, have stories for days about all of our adventures, and now we round out the adventure sharing both of our weddings together!

Best Man

AKA: "J Mar" Sean and Jamar met in the 9th grade in Mrs.Domaille's English class. They enjoyed competing against each other to see who could get the best score on their English tests, and they've been competing against each other ever since!

Kirsten Holtz-Naim

Bridesmaid

As a child, Sondra would visit her family in San Bernardino, CA. Kirsten is the oldest of her two cousins there, although the bond they share is more like that of sisters! Kirsten has been a major influence and motivation for Sondra though her life, and always encourages her in her creative pursuits! Kirsten lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband and two adorable boys!

Bobby Taylor

AKA: "Pretty Boy Bobby" Sean considers his brother, through thick and thin! Their families welcomed each other with open arms, and blood couldn't make them any closer! Sean and Bobby have known each other the longest of those in the Wedding party, and they've spent many nights talking about girls....to now talking about Bobby's family (he's got two beautiful kids) and Sean's family-to-be! They consider each other family...FOR LIFE!

Elyse Holtz

Sondra and Elyse are cousins (but again, more like sisters), and were fortunate to grow up together! Just a year apart, they were able to attend high school together at one point, and still remain close. Sondra can always rely on Elyse for sound advice, a ton of fun, and lots of love near or far!

Chelsea Quinn

Sondra and Chelsea met in 9th grade in French class...though neither of them ended up doing very well! They've been friends ever since 2003, and have seen each other through a lot of pivotal "growing up" moments! Chelsea currently serves our country in the US Navy, and just moved back to the states after being stationed in Japan for two years!

AKA "Patty Cake" Sean and Patrick met in middle school, and have been close ever since! Although Patrick moved to Houston, Texas a few years back (where he graduated from the University of Houston!), every time they speak its as if they just spoke yesterday! Patrick is goofy, and always laughing!

Damon Miller-Jones

AKA "DJMJ" Sean and Damon met in their Sophomore year of high school, when Damon transferred to Serra High from Mission Bay High. Damon has always stayed true to himself, and is arguably the best dancer in their whole friend group! He is a great father to his son, Rylan.

Zainab Hassan

Sondra and Zainab met thanks to MOH Alex, back in 2010! Since then, they've shared plenty of adventures together! In fact, we've gone to Italy together....TWICE! Zainab currently resides in Bellevue, Washington. She will be embarking on a journey around the world to do pro-bono heart surgeries in 2019! She's amazing!

Jon Shoate

AKA "Sweepa" Sean affectionately refers to Jon as his "Gridiron Brother!" They played football together throughout high school, and still continue to play together in a recreational Flag Football League! Jon even played Division I football at Arizona State University! Sean admires Jon's honesty, and originality. They both love the movie "Boomerang!"

Megan and Sondra met on a photo expedition in Mexico in 2018! Megan was one of the photographers on the trip, and they "clicked" instantly! Since they returned from Mexico, they have enjoyed collaborating with each other and motivating each other creatively....and we love trying all the best cafes and brunches in San Diego, together, too!

We met on Instagram! But really...we were both members of a female travel group on Facebook. We followed each other on Instagram, and it became clear that we needed to be "real life friends," not just the virtual kind! Since then, we always make time for brunches, happy hours, or just plain hanging out!
