our adventure begins

In 2015, we both met working at Olive Garden as servers. We engaged in small talk at work, but soon become closer friends as we spent more time together, along with some of our awesome co-workers. After a few dates, laughs, and watching Sean give rockin' performances at many of his band gigs, we quickly realized this could be something special!

To celebrate our 3-year anniversary, we made special plans that weekend to re-visit the Morton Arboretum, where we had our very first date. When we arrived, it was packed, so we decided to take a less crowded path to hike through first. After some hiking, Sean suggested we take a break and find a scenic place to relax. We found a pretty spot and he pulled out a blanket from his backpack to lay down, then surprised me with a picnic, including snacks and all! As we were wrapping things up, I stood up ready to continue our hike, but Sean stayed down on one knee, sneakily pulled out the ring, and popped the question! Of course I said YES! It was a beautiful moment we will never forget! We are so excited to share this next chapter of our lives with you!
