Aloft Houston Downtown

We have a block of rooms here for Friday and Saturday night at a rate of $159 for a King and $169 for a Double Queen, available until March 12. The hotel is a 6 minute drive from the venue, and Uber/Lyft would be readily available in this area. This is also where we will be staying Saturday night. You can also check out other hotels in the area. Any thing downtown would be 5-10 minutes from the venue, the Medical Center area is about 15 minutes away, Greenway/Upper Kirby is about 10 minutes, and the Galleria/Uptown is about 15-20 depending on traffic.

Houston Airports

There are two main airports in Houston - Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and Hobby (HOU). IAH is approximately 30-45 minutes from downtown, depending on traffic, and is the larger of the two airports. There will be a wider variety of flight options available, but because of it's size it will be more difficult to get in and out. Hobby is 25-40 minutes from downtown, depending on traffic, and is primarily the hub for Southwest, although American, Delta and jetBlue also fly out of here. Being the smaller airport, it is easier navigate and get in and out.

Travel Note

METRORail

For those of you interested in trying out the METRO Rail, the red line runs directly along Main Street from Aloft Houston Downtown to the venue in Midtown. You would need to get on at Central Station Main, head southbound and get off at McGowen. After that it's a two minute walk to the venue. We wanted to provide alternative forms of transportation in case you are feeling adventurous!
