The Beginning of Forever

This isn’t your typical love story, but it's the best love story I know! It all started over 6 years ago when Sean moved to Danville, VA after medical school and started his residency at the hospital where Wendy worked as an RN in the ER. Sean was working in the ER one day when Whitney and Tonya told him he should ask Wendy out. Wendy had no idea and was so embarrassed when she found out. Their first date was nothing special, but it was the beginning of something more magical than either of them could have dreamed. Wendy was over an hour late, so Sean found out quickly that she is never on time for anything! They met Tonya and Jonathan at Long River where Julio served them some love potion that quickly sealed their fate. Shortly after their first date Wendy lost her son Lucas. Sean stood by her side and was her rock through her darkest days. Their friendship turned into something more before either of them realized. A few months later Wendy took a travel nurse assignment in Hawaii for 6 months and Sean decided to come with her. This was the first of many adventures they have shared. They love traveling the world together and making new memories. On September 28, 2017 Sean and Wendy took a trip to Iceland with Dave and Emily. Sean had planned the perfect proposal. When they arrived his plans were quickly ruined. There was a bridge washed out which caused them to have to reroute their entire trip. Sean decided he was going to stick with his original proposal at Diamond Beach but knew they would have to rush to get there. When they arrived it was dark and there were hurricane winds. Wendy of course said yes as Sean almost dropped the ring in the ocean. The proposal was like their relationship...when faced with a storm, they always come out stronger on the other side. They are excited to have all of you join them to start the most exciting adventure yet...the start of their FOREVER!!!
