It was destiny. We met at Ohio University a few weeks into the school year. We were each with our own friends until a mutual friend brought us all to the same table in the dining hall. Later that day we all went to a party together, and we both knew it was meant to be. We have been inseparable ever since.

We spent our sixth anniversary in Salt Fork State Park. During a day of hiking, we stumbled upon a beautiful trail that ended with a waterfall. We set up the camera to take photos from a distance (little did I know he was really recording a video!) and he got down on one knee. He’ll never let me live it down that I shouted “No!” in disbelief. Of course, my real answer was YES!
