Let's jump back to the summer of 2020. It all started when Tayloranne stumbled upon Sean’s Facebook profile, after seeing that they had a lot of mutual friends. Shortly after becoming friends on Facebook, Sean followed Tayloranne on Instagram and we began talking on Tayloranne’s Birthday, 6/20. In the beginning of July, Sean asked Tayloranne out on their first date, but there were two catches… it was the height of the pandemic and the hottest summer on record in Arizona. We knew we wouldn’t be able to do any of the typical first date things like go to a sit down restaurant or go to the movies, but we still planned our first date. On the Fourth of July 2020, Sean drove across town from Buckeye to Tempe, and picked up Tayloranne, where we sat and talked for hours, without even realizing so much time had gone by. There were only a few things open on that day, so we ended up going to Chick-Fil-A for lunch, then walked around Bass Pro Shop, and got ice cream at McDonalds (& shockingly the ice cream machine was working)! It was truly the perfect setting to really get to know one another!! By July 12, 2020 there was no denying our feelings for each other and we became a couple. That first year, we had many adventures together, including a trip to Flagstaff for Sean's sister and brother-in laws wedding, many trips to California to visit with Tayloranne's family, a couple camping trips to get out of the heat, and our first big trip together to Colorado! We grew so close during this time, that we were spending most days and almost every night together at one of our two apartments. Naturally the next step was moving in together, so in July of 2021 we got our first place together in Tempe while we both finished up school at ASU. By 2022 we had moved to Goodyear, where we currently live, and shortly after in March of 2023 we adopted our puppy, Dixie Mae, together! Sean proposed to Tayloranne on May 17, 2025 at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix. We cannot wait to get married and celebrate our love! We are so thankful for all of your love and support during this new chapter in our lives!
