We’re getting Married!!

It all started when my friend Ashley and his friend Andrew thought it was a good idea to get us to got to youth group one Thursday night in the summer of 2004, little did we know there we’re ulterior motives on both their parts… I’m so glad there were. If they hadn’t I never would have been hearded into the music room… I could hear the drums coming from down the hall and was intrigued but little did I know who was playing them… Sean sat there going to town on the drums, in all his surfer boy style glory…hehehe… then he looked up and I saw his cute little face… I say cute because he looked so different back then than he does now… In a good way! The last 20 years haven’t all been sunshine and rainbows, more like axes and daggers, especially if you know us personally. But God had other plans for us… We, separately, had so much growth to achieve before we would have “our time” again. In that time apart we had been through so much in life, we were both broken and beaten, but God knew EXACTLY what he was doing not only when he took us apart but even more when he graced us with the gift of finding our way back to each other in 2017!! Then next 18 months would prove to be a crucible, I believe that with the pasts that we were trying to bring together we had to fight, some days harder than others, to prove that we were here for the right reasons and not the wrong like in the past… Oddly enough the universe let us come full circle and we were able to get through the darkness together that we walked into together oh so many years before… then the Best thing happened, we saw the much needed light at the end of the tunnel, we were Blessed with OUR biggest accomplishment so far, a FUTURE, not one filled with pain like it would have had in the past if we had kept down that same path, BUT one of hope and faith and purpose… and a new reason to fight, LOVE!! We hope to see you there at our Wedding!!!
