The infamous " how we met" story...

elevator pitch- through Stacy's best friend

The romantic version of the story is too long than what the space allows for me to describe, however I will say we were friends for a while, we had a flirtationship and then *FINALLY* made our relationship official. We had always been long distance and even the first 8 months of our dating were spent flying back and forth but it was well worth it.

the Proposal

I have to tell some history in order to capture the true magic

About 6 months before we became an official couple we had our first date- Sean was in Nashville visiting with some buddies and made time to take me to dinner. I chose Taco Mamacita because the weather was great for the patio, the food and cocktails are awesome and its overall a great place. Fast forward to June 2016- Sean flies in to Nashville for a weekend with me and one of his buddies (a groomsman) was here on short trip for work, the 3 of us meet some of my friends for dinner at Taco Mamacita. Great time had by all. THEN- April 2018 We had plans to go have a nice long weekend in Nashville with same buddy from above with his wife (also a bridesmaid.) In my mind it's Mike's birthday and Sean and I were celebrating our 2 year anniversary of dating on the following Monday. That Saturday morning Mike and Nicole fly in and we head to Taco Mamacita for brunch and to get day drinking underway. We sat on the patio to take in the great weather it was the only nice day that weekend, we also pretty much sat in the same spot we sat for our first date, which we joked about. We all start to wrap things up. Nicole and I step out front and wait for the guys to join us. When they do, Sean asks if I want to take a picture out front - he never asks so of course I do! Nicole takes his phone to "take a picture" and instead videos the sweetest moment. Sean said, "This was the place we had our first date and this was the last place he ever wanted to have a first date." By then I'm in shock that this highly anticipated moment was happening when I least expected it and it was perfect. He continued to say, "I love you so much..." bent down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?"

For all the days along the way
