We're hoping to have an intimate wedding with our closest family and friends, therefore we are only able to accommodate those listed on invitations.
We are so excited to hear about everyone's travel plans during their time abroad. However, due to a limited number of rooms only guests invited to our wedding will be permitted to stay at Ballymagarvey Village.
This will be an adult's only celebration.
While this is not a requirement, our wishes are to be able to spend as much quality time with everyone travelling for the wedding! We would love for all guests to stay on site with us.
Most guests flying in for the wedding will be staying in different locations around the greater Dublin area, therefore we are unable to provide transportation to and from the venue. There is free parking available for those renting cars, as well as taxi or transportation rentals you are welcome to organize with other guests. The drive from Dublin is approximately 40-60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. All guests will be well fed! Breakfast is included for all guests staying on site each morning between 8:30 and 10:30am. For all guests attending the day after wedding party at Ballymagarvey Village, we will provide an afternoon tea, BBQ dinner, and late night snacks.
The dress code is garden party formal! We ask all guests to refrain from wearing shades of purple and white, as these are reserved for the bridal party. Women's dress inspiration: https://pin.it/30jSG53Bf
All guests can come and go based on whatever dates work best for them. We are hosting pre-wedding events in Dublin on Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 16th, which are completely optional to attend prior to our wedding day on Monday August 17th.
Check-in will occur directly AFTER our ceremony at 3:45pm. Upon arrival, all luggage will be collected and stored by staff.
Please advise us on any dietary restrictions & allergies when you submit your RSVP. We will pass this onto Ballymagarvey Village who will make all necessary modifications.
Given the nature of the weather in Ireland, we will not know if our ceremony will be inside or outside until a few days before. Both ceremony spaces are available at Ballymagarvey Village, please dress appropriately for either including walking on grass.
No - those staying for less than 90 days do not require a visa. However, you should ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of departure from Ireland.
Unfortunately, outside food/drinks are not permitted in rooms. Bottled water will be provided. An open bar and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided during the wedding day and post-wedding party events.
Outside of the wedding party, all guests need to come dressed for the ceremony. There are no areas available to change prior to check-in.
Please see the 'Accommodations' section of our website.
