Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We're hoping to have an intimate wedding with our closest family and friends, therefore we are only able to accommodate those listed on invitations.

I am planning a family vacation during my time in Ireland, can my other family members stay with me at Ballymagarvey Village?

Answer

We are so excited to hear about everyone's travel plans during their time abroad. However, due to a limited number of rooms only guests invited to our wedding will be permitted to stay at Ballymagarvey Village.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This will be an adult's only celebration.

Question

Do I have to stay on site at Ballymagarvey Village?

Answer

While this is not a requirement, our wishes are to be able to spend as much quality time with everyone travelling for the wedding! We would love for all guests to stay on site with us.

Question

How will I get to/from Ballymagarvey Village?

Answer

Most guests flying in for the wedding will be staying in different locations around the greater Dublin area, therefore we are unable to provide transportation to and from the venue. There is free parking available for those renting cars, as well as taxi or transportation rentals you are welcome to organize with other guests. The drive from Dublin is approximately 40-60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. What will I eat while staying at the venue (Ballymagarvey Village)?

Answer

All guests will be well fed! Breakfast is included for all guests staying on site each morning between 8:30 and 10:30am. For all guests attending the day after wedding party at Ballymagarvey Village, we will provide an afternoon tea, BBQ dinner, and late night snacks.

Is there a dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

The dress code is garden party formal! We ask all guests to refrain from wearing shades of purple and white, as these are reserved for the bridal party. Women's dress inspiration: https://pin.it/30jSG53Bf

When do I need to be in Ireland?

Answer

All guests can come and go based on whatever dates work best for them. We are hosting pre-wedding events in Dublin on Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 16th, which are completely optional to attend prior to our wedding day on Monday August 17th.

When can I check into my room at Ballymagarvey Village?

Answer

Check-in will occur directly AFTER our ceremony at 3:45pm. Upon arrival, all luggage will be collected and stored by staff.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies, who should I contact?

Answer

Please advise us on any dietary restrictions & allergies when you submit your RSVP. We will pass this onto Ballymagarvey Village who will make all necessary modifications.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Given the nature of the weather in Ireland, we will not know if our ceremony will be inside or outside until a few days before. Both ceremony spaces are available at Ballymagarvey Village, please dress appropriately for either including walking on grass.

Do I need a visa to travel to Ireland from Canada?

Answer

No - those staying for less than 90 days do not require a visa. However, you should ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of departure from Ireland.

Can I bring my own snacks and drinks to Ballymagarvey Village?

Answer

Unfortunately, outside food/drinks are not permitted in rooms. Bottled water will be provided. An open bar and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided during the wedding day and post-wedding party events.

If I can't check in until after the ceremony, can I at least get changed when I arrive?

Answer

Outside of the wedding party, all guests need to come dressed for the ceremony. There are no areas available to change prior to check-in.
