Friends since middle school, Becca has been an honorary Tupaj at many family events. She is compassionate, dedicated, and makes everyone feel welcome and seen. Becca finally acknowledged that Biola was the better school and moved to La Mirada to become neighbors with Sean. Since then Sean and Sadie have enjoyed many impromptu hangs and game nights with Becca, Andrew, and their cat, Goose.

Is such a bundle of joy that his friends literally assigned him the call sign “fun loving corgi.” In 2011, he taught Sean the way of country music and he's never looked back. Barta eventually moved to South Carolina where he now spends his time woodworking in his cowboy boots.

Alongside his wife Gina, Michael was there to pick Sean up when he was down...and buy every appetizer on the menu. He's a deeply compassionate soul and a true friend. Fun fact: Michael once bought $3,000 worth of fedoras.

Jack of all trades, master of several. Ryan has been aptly described as the friend you need not explain or make excuses for. He's steadfast, loyal, smart, real, caring, and makes excellent eggs. At least 50% of the time he's with Sean, he makes Sean eggs.

More than anyone else, Fred is like a brother to Sean. And he has been often mistaken for one - as you can see the resemblance. In high school, Sean and Fred bonded over being arrested together. That experience taught them not to throw toilet paper on neighbors' trees.
Graham Paterson

Has the biggest most jolly bellowing laugh, you’ve ever heard. He journeyed with Sean through all four years of seminary and never passed an opportunity to serve his friends and love his neighbor. Graham is also talented at tolerating Sean's borderline obsession with fringe theology without engaging with it. That’s okay. There’s still time.
Mang Thangsing

Mang and Sean also met in seminary. In 2024, Mang ask Sean if he would join his mission to help bring aid to a refugee population in the jungles of Northeast India. Together they founded First Peter Ministries, where they both serve on the board of directors. He can eat a lot.
