We highly recommend going to Cusco and visiting Machu Picchu and many other sites. Keep in mind that it is recommended to be there for 2-3 days to acclimate to the altitude. If thinking about going definitely book things months in advance since tickets are limited everyday.
If going to Cusco definitely recommend making time to visit the Sacred Valley is very beautiful and many things to see and do.
The Oasis in a desert city. It’s 4 hours away from Miraflores but it was definitely worth it. Lots of fun, if your into sand surfing and dune buggy.
Visit the mysterious Nazca Lines, massive ancient geoglyphs etched into the desert sands, best seen from the air for a truly breathtaking experience.
Boat Tours to see the Sea Lions, Penguins and one of the Nazca Lines.
If you have time definitely enjoy the beaches in the north of Peru in Piura.
