What is the dress code?

Dress Code: Colorful Formal Our wedding attire is Colorful Formal — we’d love for our guests to reflect the joyful spirit of the day in fun, vibrant, or pastel colors. For women, we suggest long evening gowns or formal dresses. Kindly avoid wearing black or white. For men, suits with ties are encouraged. Think garden party elegance meets evening chic — polished, festive, and full of color.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 20, 2026, so we can finalize seating and catering details.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Please arrive 30-15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Shuttle transportation will be available between both hotels and the venue. The shuttle will depart from the Wingate at 3:45 PM, then stop at the Holiday Inn Express to pick up guests staying there before heading to the venue. Return shuttle service will also be provided following the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, complimentary parking is available onsite. If you plan to drink, you are welcome to leave your car overnight; however, all vehicles must be picked up by 10:00 AM the following morning. Please celebrate responsibly and do not drink and drive. We are all adults — don’t be stupid.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception will take place under a tent. Please wear appropriate footwear, as the ceremony will be held on grass.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

If there is rain in the forecast, we will send a mass text update to all guests with any changes to the ceremony plans. The reception will still take place under the tent, so no worries there! Let’s all pray for sunny, clear skies and beautiful weather.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. We have hired professional photographers and will have two friends recording the ceremony to capture all the love and special moments. Once the cocktail hour/reception begins, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!

Will there be an after-party?

Answer

There will not be a formal after-party, but we plan to continue the celebration at Nauti Goose in North East MD! It’s about a 10-minute Uber ride from the hotels, and everyone is welcome to join us!
