Go check out the planetarium shows and then hit the many trails around the park! It's one of our favorite spots to catch the sunset. Also in the park is the the Gene Autry Museum that has a variety of great exhibits.
This 5.5 hike is our favorite and if you make it just paces beyond the two mile mark you'll be at the spot where Sean valiantly, romantically, handsomely, and very sweatily proposed to Miriam.
Take a stroll around the lake, ride the pedal boats, and grab yourself an elote or some delicious street meat from a local vendor!
If you're in the neighborhood grab a coffee from Miriam's shop. The coffee is delicious, and the back patio is a delight. Sean's favorite is the ham 'n' cheese croissant and a cold brew while Miriam is ADDICTED to the orange chia bread and loves a good cappuccino.
Miriam always says it feels like hanging out in the hanging gardens of Babylon. One of her favorite places on earth definitely worth checking out!
Literally the best pizza in town. Vegan and Gluten free friendly. We'll be serving Purgatory at The Hi Hat but go check out the rest of the menu!
Miriam was raised going to Leo Carrillo every summer and it's one of Sean's favorite surf spots. It also happens to be where they went on some of their first dates. Check out all the coves and hit Neptunes Net for some fish n' chips. If you're looking for ocean action closer to town check out Venice Beach with it's fun characters, skateboarders, and eclectic performances.
While the Hi Hat is our favorite spot on the block- That stretch of York Blvd is chock full of bars, restaurants, and shops. Cafe de leche, Hermosillo, Johnny's Bar, Big Bud Press, and Joy are some of our favorites.
