They met beloved characters like Donald Duck and Puss in Boots and made sure to ride every ride. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind quickly became their favorite at Epcot, while Transformers thrilled them at Universal Studios. In the summer of 2023, they took their love for pop culture to the next level with a trip to San Diego Comic-Con. As VIP press members, they soaked in the excitement of the biggest event in movie and TV fandom, enjoying a behind-the-scenes experience unlike any other. Sean’s romantic proposal on November 29, 2023, in New York City was the perfect culmination of their story so far. Cleverly disguised as a trip to see the *Back to the Future Musical* (one of Sean’s favorite movies) and the Rockefeller tree lighting, Sean planned a breathtaking proposal at The Edge. Marixa was stunned when he popped the question, and the surprise didn’t end there—he had already arranged for engagement photos the very next day in Central Park. Their New York City adventure also included visits to the Balloon Museum, the Statue of Liberty, and an evening of ice skating at Rockefeller Plaza, where their proposal even made it accidentally onto live television!
