Yes, Playa Mujeres is considered a safe destination for travelers. The resort, Dreams Playa Mujeres, is situated in the exclusive private gated community of Playa Mujeres, just 10 miles north of downtown Cancun.

Yes, it's an all-inclusive resort with 10 different dining experiences, featuring six à la carte restaurants, a buffet, a grill, a fast-casual eatery and a café with an ice cream parlor. The tipping culture in Mexico is big. A US dollar goes a long way, and workers are very appreciative of receiving tips. Typically, many will tip a dollar or two or more depending on the service after receiving a drink or meal. It's not technically required, but it is very common to do so. We recommend bringing some cash to tip.
