We are getting married

It all started on January 20, 2023, when Hershey asked Maira on a date at Mission BBQ—because nothing says romance like smoked meats. Their second date? A movie followed by an escape room, where they quickly realized they might not have a future as detectives. Despite their best efforts, they couldn’t figure it out… and may or may not have accepted defeat. Fast forward to August 1, 2024, when Hershey decided it was time to pop the big question—but with a twist. On the very last night of their North Carolina trip, he insisted they take a moonlit beach walk. Suspicious? Maybe. Romantic? Definitely. But just as Maira was about to soak in the moment, they turned on a flashlight… and were immediately surrounded by hundreds of tiny crabs running in every direction. Because nothing says "Will you marry me?" like the threat of an unexpected crustacean attack. Somehow, through laughter (and mild panic), Hershey got down on one knee, Maira said yes, and the crabs witnessed the beginning of their forever. Now, as they prepare to say "I do," they can’t wait for a lifetime of adventure, laughter, and hopefully, fewer crabs.
