Ben could have played many roles in our big day, but we are so honored to have him front and center with us, and for him to be the one that joins us together forever. Ben is the link between Basalt and Bluffton, and who brought us together for the first time hiking Mt Bierstadt. Some might say the B’s were buzzing and we were meant to be. Without Ben, none of us would be here today and he will forever be apart of our family. Literally and figuratively, kinda, maybe….wait let’s draw a family tree!
Maid of Honor
Gracie is my little sister and bestie. I couldn’t imagine having a wedding without her by my side, along with her wit and sass! When her and Sean got along so easily, and were quickly acting like siblings themselves, I knew he was the one. I’m so thankful to always have a built in best friend with Gracie, she’s stuck with me forever, just like Sean soon will be!!
Maid of Honor
Audrey and I went to Ball State together, made it through nursing school together, and both moved to Colorado post grad! Some might say, soul sisters. We would never survive too far away from each other! Sean has joked that when Ben says “you may kiss the bride”, I might turn around and kiss Audrey… stay tuned!
Bridesmaid
Lizah and I first met playing on the same club volleyball team in high school. Although we didn’t go to the same high school or college, we made countless Bluffton - Decatur and Muncie - Bloomington trips. Post grad, we both moved from home, but still not to the same place, maybe one day we will get it right! Until then, near or far, we will always be close at heart.

Kate and I met on the first day of orientation for our jobs in Denver, and the rest is history! After learning she was also from the Midwest, and finding out she also went to music festivals (through stalking her instagram), I knew we were meant to be ;) I wouldn’t have survived my first year in Denver, or my first year of nursing without her. It feels like we’ve been friends forever. We love our Katie Kate!!

Heather and I went to Ball State together, and met through our sorority. We had many a giggles, walks through the Muncie streets together, and plenty of sleepovers at the Martin street house! She’s one of those friends that I knew, no matter what, we will be lifelong besties. If lost, you can find us on an elevated surface spying on everyone!

Haley and I went to Ball State together, and met through our sorority. We were basically roommates for half of college! She is someone I can always count on, and know there will never be a dull moment whether we are sitting on the couch, or out and about! She’s the best friend you could ask for.

Liv and I met in college, and I quickly knew we would be friends forever! She didn’t hesitate to let me use her ID when she turned 21 a year earlier than me ;) She is someone that no matter how long it’s been since I’ve seen her, we haven’t missed a beat. It’s hard not to have fun when we are together!

Ryan is the closet thing I have to a brother. In a family full of cousins, our ages are close, but our similarities are endless. Ry and I have traveled the world together from the eye in London to the Sahara desert laughing the entire way. I sleep well at night knowing he will always be there for me and I am blessed to have him by my side.

Papa Kate has been there since I was born, and though not through blood, I truly consider her my sister. From growing up across the street from one another, to today, we really have not been more than 10 minutes from one another. She is the best friend, dog aunt, listener, low-key funny sister a guy could ask for. I feel so honored to have a groomswoman that has been by my side for 38 years.

BOB, might be the reason, and the answer to my #1 question, “I suppose you are all wondering why we have gathered you all here today” Ben is the link to so many amazing relationships in my life and I feel so thankful for him. I will never forget so many moments with Ben over the years, but make sure he tells you the one about us joining the crew while we studied abroad together on Semester At Sea.

AJ, Ronnie, RRJ, AA-Ron has so many alter egos but he never puts any one of them before you. He is one of the kindest, most selfless people I have ever met. He was there to make sure and confirm, even though I was talking, I didn’t need CPR and slept in a chair by my side all night. I wouldn’t think of not having him by my side on the biggest day of my life.

Danny Rocket and I became fast friends, so his nickname certainly precedes him. The moment you meet Dan you can feel the rocket fuel flowing through his veins, along with the other 678 supplements….but his energy is contagious. I admire Dan’s passion and that absolutely slips into his friendships making it an easy choice to have Dan stand up and help launch Maggie and I off.

On a per hour basis I spend more intimate time with WWD than anyone here, possibly including Maggie. From College roommates to business partners there is no one I trust more….even when that trust pushes our relationship to uncomfortable levels…..so this is a preemptive no, that I will not shave your back for you before the wedding, but I will always have your back just like you always have mine.

Only one person would let me live in his parents basement after college for an uncomfortable amount of time so Josh is here because I still owe him one….and his parents because i continue to get mail there……I kid I kid, but this is a testament to the friend that Josh is. There are few people who truly know me better in this world than Josh and we will be linked for life. SKOBUFFS
