Like all great modern love stories, ours began with a swipe on Tinder, right at the start of the pandemic. With the world on pause and everything closed, we did what any responsible, slightly bored, and interested pair of strangers would do - we FaceTimed... a lot. We spent hours chatting from our rooms, slowly turning small talk into something more meaningful. Eventually, we decided it was time to meet in person (from a distance, of course). So, our first "real" date was in Maddie's parents' garage, six feet apart, sitting in camping chairs. It wasn't exactly a candlelit first date, but it was perfect in its own way. Soon, our morning routine became Sean swinging by after his night shift with Purolator, just to say hi or drop off breakfast, and our afternoons were spent walking Maddie's parents' property, talking for hours and soaking up each other's company. From FaceTimes to garage dates and daily walks, we quickly became inseparable - and we haven't looked back since. Here's to the beginning of our forever!
